This notice explains how BoardSight, the AI Oversight Practice of Cognitive Corp ("BoardSight," "we," "us"), handles information you provide through this website. It is written to be plain and specific. It is not legal advice.
What we collect
We collect only the information you choose to submit through our forms: your name, work email, organization, title or role, and any message or context you include. Our forms are intended for corporate and professional contact details. We do not ask for, and you should not submit, special-category personal data.
Why we use it
We use what you submit solely to respond to your inquiry, to schedule and prepare a briefing you request, to provide access to the member vault of governance templates, and to follow up about the services you asked about. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and briefing information for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our correspondence, and vault-access records for as long as your access is active, after which we delete or anonymize them within a reasonable period. We do not retain your information longer than we have a legitimate business reason to.
Your choices — access, correction, deletion
You may ask us at any time to confirm what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email governance@cognitivecorp.ai and we will act on your request within a reasonable time, subject to any record-keeping obligations that apply to us.
Sharing and processors
We share your information only with service providers who help us operate this site and communicate with you (for example, our application and email infrastructure), under confidentiality obligations, and where required by law. BoardSight is a practice of Cognitive Corp and information may be handled within Cognitive Corp for these purposes.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only the storage necessary to make it function. If we introduce analytics that identify you, we will update this notice first.
